InteleCom Solutions, a provider of telecommunication and Internet products and services, has signed a Letter of Intent with two major companies in China: Panda International (News - Alert) Information Technology Company and Shanghai NIU Telecom. These two companies will market products and services of InteleCom through their sales and distribution channels.

Through these two companies, InteleCom stands to gain 1.1 billion potential VoIP customers using its communications platform. This number includes all Internet, landline and mobile phone subscribers in China.

Panda International Information Technology Company, a subsidiary of Panda Electronics Group Company, is one of the most popular names in electronics in China as its Panda brand is the name familiar with many households. For the past 20 consecutive years, it has been listed among the top 100 largest electronics information enterprises in China. It was also the first Chinese company to enter international electronics market.

Shanghai NIU Telecom is a subsidiary of KD Ontime Holdings Corporation, which provides VoIP service and VoIP technology support services to customers in China, Japan, Canada, UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan
and the US.

"Together the companies form a formidable marketing team in China where there are 170 million Internet users, 372 million landlines, and 508 million mobile phone users,” said John A. Roberts, Jr., CEO and chairman of InteleCom, in a press release. “All of these subscribers are potential VoIP customers through InteleCom's remote calling feature.”

On its expansion spree to reach new geographical markets, InteleCom has previously entered into a distribution pact with the Sakal Group of Israel, that owns the largest privately owned retail chain. Sakal will now market InteleCom's products and services through its numerous sales affiliates in many countries.
