Viper Networks has signed a Letter of Intent to establish a partnership with Navao Nigeria Limited for distributing a full line of VoIP products and services to both residential and commercial customers in Nigeria. Viper Networks expects to finalize the Navao Limited agreement by the end of January 2008. Both companies reportedly signed the LOI, pledging to strengthen each company’s position in the burgeoning VoIP market in Nigeria.

 

CEO of Viper Networks Farid Shouekani said in a statement that the relationship with Navao Nigeria Limited will be very beneficial to Viper; especially to their efforts of establishing a presence in the African market, as Navao has access to powerful distribution and marketing channels throughout Africa.

 

Shouekani explained that their plan includes, among other components, marketing VoIP products and services designed to fulfill the specific needs of consumers in Nigeria. By collaborating with Navao Nigeria Limited, Viper Networks has identified several emerging market trends unique to Nigerian communities both in and outside of Nigeria that they intend to capitalize on.
