GoIP International, a global provider of complete private-label VoIP systems for prepaid and post paid Voice over IP for the consumer and business market, has opened a local Eastern European office in Beograd, Serbia.

GoIP International offers the unique "VoIP in a Box" white label platform that enables service providers to deliver personalized and advanced Voice over IP services to their customers. Ivan Solvason, founder and CEO of GoIP International explained in a statement that following multiple successful deliveries of their "VoIP in a Box" solutions, the company felt it was now time to expand and setup a strong local presence in the growing Eastern European broadband market to support the growing demand for VoIP services.

The new office will be lead by Srdjan Djordjevic - a telecom professional veteran who will focus on marketing and selling GoIP's "VoIP in a Box" solution to ISP's, Carriers, MVNO's and ITSP's.

According to GoIP, around 100.000 new broadband subscribers sign up for services each day. Forty percent of these subscribers originate from the Eastern European market, which is growing at a high rate. Most ISP's offering Wimax, ADSL or Wi-Fi broadband in this region are currently looking at GoIP's private label "VoIP in a Box" solution, to bundle their offering with innovative VoIP services to increase ARPU.

Solvason pointed out that the GoIP International 'VoIP in a Box' platform is a proven VoIP platform that has been in commercial operation for more than 4 years. The company’s 'VoIP in a Box' Solution combines a self-managed Web front-end, a Business Operations Support System, a real time billing platform, and a VoIP soft switch.

Srdjan Djordjevic, director of GoIP Eastern Europe indicated that VoIP is a service highly adopted in the Eastern European countries were VoIP is legal. Although a few countries such as Serbia and Belorussia still have blocked VoIP, they expect these markets to develop over the short term, opening up for new VoIP business.

Djordjevic believes the high price of local Telco's is another factor for their success. A large number of immigrants want to call international and are being offered a complete VoIP solution, which allows everyone to communicate in high quality, at much lower cost with additional services. And he noted that at this moment, some of the Eastern European countries are actually ahead compared to some markets in Western Europe (mostly VoIP on WiMAX).
