Voice solutions provider
Envox Worldwide announced today that it has hired industry veteran Timothy Moynihan for the newly created position of vice president, global marketing and sales support.
Moynihan comes to Envox from Intel (

In his new role, Moynihan - a recognized expert on speech and communications technology - will be responsible for all of Envox’s marketing and sales support activities. He will work with the company’s regional general managers and their respective sales organizations to ensure that the company continues to grow and find new opportunities in the rapidly expanding market for communications development platforms and tools. He will report directly to Mark D. Flanagan, the company’s president and CEO.
“Envox Worldwide (

Alert) is an innovative and entrepreneurial company that is on an exciting growth trajectory,” said Moynihan, who holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a master’s degree from Purdue University, in a press release. “I’ve worked with [Envox] as a key strategic partner for many years and I look forward to joining their senior management team and helping them take their business to the next level on a global basis.”
Citing the fact that Envox Worldwide has experienced a 50 percent compounded annual growth rate during the past fours years - and that there is increasing demand for its open, standards-based voice solutions - CEO Mark Flanagan said the new position was added “because we believe that Tim Moynihan has the background, experience and prior success to help us accelerate our growth on a global basis as we move forward.”
Envox last made news on TMCnet in August when it
announced that it had partnered with Volt Delta Resources, a leading provider of standards-based voice application hosting services (and a wholly owned subsidiary of Volt Information Sciences Inc.), to develop a next-generation hosted call center voice solution appropriately called Envox OnDemand.
