Grandstream Networks Inc. and GlobalTouch Telecom (News - Alert) have signed an agreement for the resale and supply of the Grandstream GXV-3000 IP Video Phone and the HandyTone 386 and HandyTone 488 Analog Telephone Adaptors to GlobalTouch Telecom’s resellers and end users.

Gregory O. Welch, CEO of GlobalTouch Telecom believes the future of today’s hyper-competitive telecom sector hinges on the delivery of converged applications and services to consumers over IP Networks.

Following the extensive testing in their laboratories GlobalTouch Telecom is confident that both the performance and styling of the Grandstream GXV3000 IP Video Phone and the HandyTone ATAs will enable them to compliment their integrated platform and the services they provide to their end-users, partners and various distribution channels, and to grow their worldwide customer base.

“The GXV3000 is an exciting addition to our application services and further differentiates us in the market. In addition, the HandyTone series enables us to provide a very exiting, cost-effective, solution to our end-users,” said Welch in a press release.

Based on SIP and H.264 standard, the Grandstream GXV-3000 is an advanced IP video phone, which is competitively priced and easy to use. The GXV boasts a combination of sleek design and technology features with excellent picture quality, ease of deployment and broad interoperability with 3rd party SIP products.

The GXV-3000 supports real-time (up to 30fps) high-quality video at very modest bandwidth level (as low as 32kbps, up to 1Mbps). The phone gives the end-user the ability to have high-quality videoconferences at home or at the office.

With GlobalTouch Telecom’s ASP VoIP Solution organizations have the means with which to enter and operate in any size VoIP market. The solution is scalable from a few thousand residential or enterprise seats to millions of customers around the world.

This ASP platform is affordable, fully-integrated, and delivers a comprehensive suite of services including hosted IP-PBX (News - Alert) with ACD, Auto Attendant, SIP Fax, softphone, and all network services (DIDs, LNP, 911) and termination to any telephone in the world. The platform enables Carriers, Resellers, PTTs, MSOs and ISPs to launch a private-labeled VoIP business in less than 60 days.

David Li, CEO of Grandstream Networks (News - Alert) expressed his excitement to partner with GlobalTouch to offer advanced IP voice and video telephony services to the residential market.

Li said that GlobalTouch’s adoption of Grandstream’s award-winning products validates the compelling values their innovative products bring to the service provider market.

“This partnership reflects the strong and growing market demand for high quality and affordable IP video telephony services over public Internet. We look forward to a long lasting relationship with GlobalTouch to bring rich video communication experiences to the mass consumer market,” he concluded.
