VoIP provider Iristel Inc. has launched Canada’s first High Definition (HD) VoIP telephone service to provide the finest voice communication services.

HD VoIP is said to deliver better voice quality and thus “replicates the clarity and efficiency of face-to-face meetings.”

In a press release, Iristel Inc. President and CEO Samer Bishay said, “With more and more business persons working remotely from offsite locations voice quality is of paramount concern, Iristel addresses this issue through its extensive network of industry partners by offering HD VoIP.”

Recently, Iristel also launched a Pay-As-You-Go VoIP plan for residential subscribers with primary intent of providing cost-effective communications to every household in Canada.

Iristel Broadfone is a software telephone with highest quality voice transmission. It is equipped with traditional and advanced telephone options including call log, caller ID, dial SIP numbers, call transfer, auto-answer, and conferencing.

Minimum requirements are 128 MB RAM, Windows 2000 or XP, Pentium II 300 processor, and internet connection.

Aside from Broadfone, Iristel offers other several solutions leveraging on VoIP technology. These are virtual fax, Inbound DID Service, Corporate software, and International phone numbers.
