Douglas Telecom Intros New Model to Provide VoIP Business Telephone Service

By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

Douglas Telecom, a telecom company offering an advanced digital phone service over the Internet, has announced a new model for providing VoIP business telephone service.

Douglas Telecom said that it has combined the telephone capacity that exists in every office in America into one large unified private branch exchange telephone network.

Company officials said that the flexibility and quality of business VoIP solutions have become an attractive option for businesses, though many businesses have been slow to adopt VoIP due to reliability and cost concerns.

Officials said that its new model for providing business VoIP makes the service both economical and feature-rich. Company has implemented fully redundant quad-server clusters with integral real-time backup and restore systems. Officials said that this has provided business owners the confidence to use VoIP for day-to-day operations.

Moreover, company is equipping its business telephone service with all the standard PBX (News - Alert) features, such as auto-attendant, call hold and transfer, ring groups, extensions and more, and also it’s eliminating the need for additional equipment.

Additionally, integrated advanced features such as call holding queues, call recording, conference rooms, supervisor listen-in, staggered ringing patterns, electronic fax, multi-layered voicemail, alternate day / night / holiday greetings and call ring patterns and customized call routing are available on demand.

Douglas Telecom said that it has built its system on a foundation of its own technology that combines databases with a real-time indexing engine.
