First Hosted Intros VoiceNet Hosted VoIP Solution

First Hosted Limited, a provider of hosted solutions, has announced the launch of a new business-grade VoIP solution called “VoiceNet” that is claims offers the key benefits of economies of scale, cost efficiencies and centralization for businesses, with feature-rich capability and flexibility.
Hosted VoIP is like a PBX (News - Alert) service but allows call switching and associated functions from dedicated servers, eliminating the need for expensive PBX hardware. Customers need only a VoIP phone and broadband connection to communicate.
In addition, no on-site hardware is needed or additional bandwidth and there extra maintenance costs or new phone numbers needed.
“Our VoIP solution provides incredible flexibility and takes office communication to a new level while offering significant savings”, said Andrew Peddie, First Hosted managing director.

First Hosted’s VoiceNet solution provides a Cisco (News - Alert) IP phone and a softphone for the desktop. Alternatively, the mobile VoIP solution enables mobile phone handsets to be used on the business network.
Also, calls between employees within voice networks are free while all other landline call charges and local and international calls are greatly reduced .
In addition, call recording is also possible with the solution for the re-play of calls for training, compliance or monitoring purposes. These calls are stored securely and can be retrieved using a standard Web browser.
