Compiere, Inc., a provider of open source and cloud-based ERP solutions, has announced that France-based Secours Catholique, A Europe-based charity organization with a $204 million budget, 2,500 global offices and projects and 7.3 million beneficiaries worldwide, has successfully implemented Compiere ERP.
According to a press release, Secours Catholique replaced its outdated legacy ERP system with Compiere to have a modern, adaptable system. The system provides real-time information and consolidated reporting for the highly decentralized organization at a fraction of the time of the previous system. Secours Catholique is the French representative of Caritas Internationalis, a confederation of Catholic relief, development and social service organizations.
Secours Catholique is using Compiere for budgeting, financial functions, activity tracking and reporting across a complex, multi-level organization structure of 4,000 teams.
Compiere has delivered real-time, multi-level decision support -- as well as reporting to donors and financial and regulatory organizations. Compiere ERP lowered cost, and added flexibility and functionality to the organization. Compiere provides proven methods for financial best practices, also improved budget processing and activity-based reporting for each entity and integrated smoothly with Secours’ existing payroll, marketing and donation campaign information systems.
In the release, Stéphane Corda, Secours Catholique CIO, said “Managing our financial information on multiple levels across our organization provided several logistical challenges for our previous ERP system. By replacing our outdated technology with Compiere, we have easily overcome those obstacles by benefiting from a modern and adaptable system that provides visibility and efficiencies across our entire operation.”
Don Kaiss, Compiere president and CEO, added: “We continue to see a trend with non-profit organizations adopting capabilities of a robust and affordable ERP system that helps them control costs and improve efficiencies. We are delighted that Secours Catholique has experienced the value we provide to improve their complex global financial operations.”
Compiere delivers a broad and rich set of integrated business functionality on a global-ready platform. Manage any number of organizations, warehouses, languages, currencies, and accounting rules. The scalable and adaptable Compiere platform handles high volumes and business complexity required by demanding businesses of all sizes.
