NETbuilder and B2N Join Forces for Market Data Technology System

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

NETbuilder, a provider of high quality technology and consulting capabilities to the financial services sector, and B2N, a provider of high-speed data transfer solutions to the financial markets, have collaborated to offer a ‘best of breed’ solution of feed handler and market data technology.

According to NETbuilder officials, the joint offering will enable B2N customers to benefit from access to the company’s suite of low latency feed handlers and order and trade management, while NETbuilder customers will benefit from B2N’s feed management, ticker plant, consolidated order book and complementary set of feed handlers including BPIPE, RMDS, XETRA, LIFFE and other exchange venues.

“Components from both companies have been integrated seamlessly to achieve high standards of performance as customers benefit from the raw power of both technologies. We look forward to working with B2N in the future,” Roger Golesworthy, financial services director, NETbuilder, said.

Vasko Tomanov, managing director of B2N, said that with a history of successful installations the need arose to extend B2N’s range of feed handlers with more London-based exchanges. “NETbuilder has proved to be the right partner,” Tomanov said.

In June, NETbuilder announced that Seymour Pierce, the London based investment bank and stockbroker, selected NETbuilder’s order routing gateway for the secure routing of transactions from its clients.

NETbuilder’s order routing engine will enable Seymour Pierce to bring any number of its clients onto the gateway covered by a single service charge.

NETbuilder's order routing gateway’s flexible architecture will facilitate connectivity between Seymour Pierce’s trading systems and its external clients across the full spectrum of business traffic, and ensure that client interfaces are constructed in the most convenient and efficient manner for the client.

The ease of integration for the client will remove a number of barriers to connectivity, improving the business flow directly to Seymour Pierce's traders.
