GLOBALINX, a provider of VoIP services for residential, business clients, agents and resellers, has announced that their network architecture will now be making use of BroadSoft’s BroadWorks VoIP application platform to offer additional features and services.

The BroadWorks platform will enable GLOBALINX to unveil new multimedia services including video messaging, as well as add enhancements to its video calling capabilities for subscribers.

Officials with BroadSoft (News - Alert) said their BroadWorks offering delivers communication solutions that integrate video, fax, voice and email communications for businesses and residences worldwide whether through hosted PBX (News - Alert)/IP centrex, mobile PBX, business lines, SIP trunking and residential broadband. The company has claimed that BroadWorks is the most open, reliable, extensible and scalable platform available in the market today.

The deployed BroadWorks VoIP application platform will work together with GLOBALINX existing M6 platform, the company’s carrier-grade, scalable applications server that delivers the greatest number of revenue-generating multimedia services out of the box.

GLOBALINX’ Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mike Machonkin said, by deploying BroadSoft, they are able to bring their customers a more robust feature platform and a host of new services. This adds value and flexibility for their partners and helps them further build their businesses.
