Black Box Network Services to Provide Hosted VoIP Solutions with CoreDial

By Raja Singh Chaudhary, TMCnet Contributor

Black Box Network Services, a company that designs, builds and maintains data and voice infrastructure systems, has reportedly announced that it has entered a partnership with CoreDial, LLC, a provider of hosted PBX (News - Alert) and VoIP software and services for interconnects, service providers and businesses.

According to the agreement, Black Box Network Services will now resell the hosted Voice over IP or ‘VoIP’ solutions by CoreDial to enterprise customers.

Customers find the hosted VoIP solutions beneficial as they are able to get IP-enabled communication solutions without the costs, management and maintenance responsibilities of an on-premise VoIP application. The VoIP solution by CoreDial that BlackBox will host, offers a range of features including unified messaging, attendant, audio conferencing and call center applications, for which the customers don’t have to buy the physical system and pay for ongoing upgrades or maintenance.

Instead, the local and domestic long distance usage of the service is included in a monthly bill in addition to the managed service. The solution also features built-in disaster recovery capabilities as the equipment resides in a hardened data center that is backed up in another data center. Black Box (News - Alert) Network Services is immediately going to begin selling and servicing these hosted VoIP applications.

According to Terry Blakemore, president and CEO, Black Box Network Services, the company’s relationship with CoreDial enables it to offer its customers another attractive option to the traditional method of purchasing communications equipment, apart from providing cost-effective SIP trunking to company’s legacy PBX customers, which can reduce their overall cost.

Blakemore noted that any purchasing model that can be treated as an operating expense instead of a capital one is advantageous to many customers in this economy, and a hosted solution provides the features and functionality that Black Box Network’s customers need and helps them to realize significant internal benefits when they outsource their voice requirements.

Alan Rihm, CEO, CoreDial, said that the company is proud to have the opportunity to partner with a leading provider of communications solutions such as Black Box Network Services. Rihm added that leveraging CoreDial’s VoiceAxis software and carrier class network infrastructure services, Black Box will be uniquely positioned to deliver high-quality, high-value hosted PBX and VoIP services to their enterprise business clients, as this partnership combines Black Box’s tremendous experience, resources and customer relationships with CoreDial’s proven software and services to enable Black Box customers to immediately take advantage of the significant benefits and timely cost savings of hosted VoIP services.

Recently, CoreDial had announced that it would start providing VoiceAxis 3.0 support to Aastra’s (News - Alert) full line of SIP phones, its recently launched multi-tenant IP phone system and Voice over Internet Protocol management software, which enables service providers and interconnects to sell, provision, manage and invoice hosted PBX, VoIP, SIP trunking and related services.
