Pinnacle People, a provider of services to the U.K. Government by assisting unemployment and pension sectors for the Department of Work and Pensions, or “DWP,” has deployed the Appian business process management, or “BPM,” to enhance delivery on new and existing contracts.

 

Appian BPM Suite is the Web-based BPM platform which provides simple and effective BPM applications. Appian BPM Suite can also be used in building applications to support HR, Financial services functions and processes.

 

The DWP recently contracted Pinnacle People for bringing JobCentre Plus Support Contracts to two UK regions in order to help people return to their jobs. The Appian BPM solution will help Pinnacle manage the end to end contract delivery and also support HR, Finance and Supply Chain functions and processes.

 

It is been estimated that currently there are 2.5 million unemployed people in the United Kingdom. Pinnacle People will support JobCentre Plus by offering employment based training programs for over 4000 people a month as well as direct placements to people using Flexible New Deal program.

 

Pinnacle People officials said that Appian's real-time analytics will be used to empower its staff to pick the correct personalized methodology and enhancing the quality of service to the customer. Pinacle has started working on migrating existing system to a new high performance Appian's web based one.

 

Matt Brook, the Head of Finance and Infrastructure at Pinnacle People has said that they prefer Appian in providing advanced solutions for their critical BPMS. Appian BPM Suite will provide them with complete web based and highly interactive BPM applications.

 

Appian’s Managing Director for EMEA, Justin Thomas has added that Pinnacle People are a valuable client and have given Appian a larger footprint in the Government marketplace. Pinnacle People's innovative vision for reducing unemployment and getting people back to work through streamlined process principles directly matches Appian's philosophy.

 

Both the companies have planned to expand the process portfolio in line with Pinnacle People's strategic Enterprise approach and Service Offering to the Government marketplace.
