VoIP Provider Cedar Point Demos Safari C3Cedar Point (News - Alert) Communications will demonstrate how its SAFARI C3 Multimedia Switching System can enable college and university telecommunications networks to simply and cost-effectively migrate to VoIP
At the ACUTA Annual Conference & Exhibition for Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education, the company will show how SAFARI C3 delivers a full suite of Class 5, IP and PBX
“Campus telecommunications professionals recognize the value of moving to VoIP, but also understand the need to do so in a way that does not disrupt existing services,” said George Kassas, founder and executive vice president, business development for Cedar Point Communications in a statement.

SAFARI C3 can handle circuit and packet voice services simultaneously in one unit. This enables university IT departments to migrate from legacy voice to VoIP in a logical, coordinated manner.
The solution is already deployed or in trials at many universities and government facilities. SAFARI C3 features a fully integrated architecture that eliminates server farms, interoperability and complexity and claims to reduce operating expenditures by up to 80 percent.
