Catherine Michel, CTO and co-founder of Tribold (News - Alert), has been re-appointed to the TM forum Executive Committee. In her present role, she will continue to help the company realize its strategic objectives.

 

The TM Forum (News - Alert) Executive Committee, of which Michel is a part, represents a global cross section of the industry. It comprises senior executives, leading CSPs, solution suppliers, and systems integrators.

The role of the TM forum is varied. It is responsible for providing selected expertise to the various committees throughout the year. In addition, it has to give direction to the Forum and in conjunction with the Board members, it has to tackle any critical issues that arise.

 

'I am delighted to continue my role on the TM Forum Executive Committee and look forward to once again working with some of the industry's leading figurehead, " Michel said, and added that the evolution of the communications industry would bring in its wake tremendous changes. Supporting and enabling such changes was critical to the functioning of the TM forum.

 

Michel said that she looked forward to the challenge of managing thousands of unique products and services across the service provider portfolio.

 

Keith Willetts, chairman of the board at the TM Forum said that it was a great pleasure to have Catherine Michel on the executive committee for the fifth year running, and also Tribold's continued support. Michel had been an active Executive committee member and her domain expertise would prove to be an asset when dealing with the challenges that CSPs faced.
