LogLogic Names Christopher Brennan as President and CEO
SUNNYVALE, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 11, 2004 -- LogLogic, makers of the world's only fast, easy, end-to-end log data analysis and retention solutions, today announced that industry veteran Christopher D. Brennan has joined the company as its new president and chief executive officer. Mr. Brennan has a long history in operations and senior management with both established and start-up technology companies, and will guide LogLogic's growth as it moves its log lifecycle management solutions into the Fortune 1000 marketplace.
"With the recent release of its new LX and ST appliances, LogLogic is at the beginning of a rapid growth curve," said Steven West, board member and former acting CEO of LogLogic. "Chris has exactly the right mix of skills, experience, and industry relationships to make the most of our opportunities and resources as we move into the enterprise market mainstream."
Christopher Brennan came to LogLogic with 22 years of operating experience in both startups and large-scale multinational companies. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Banter, where he re-directed the strategy and marketing of the company, developing new products along with new sales leadership, which lead to the quadrupling of revenue performance to achieve record levels within three quarters. Brennan was previously president, CEO and member of the board of directors at Mobileum, Inc., now called Roamware. While CEO of Roamware, Brennan recruited a strong management team, raised $45 million in funding, landed BEA, TIBCO, Sun, Lucent, Sybase and Genesys as partners; and secured Schwab, VISA, Honda, APL and Merrill Lynch as initial customers. Previously, Brennan served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Genesys Telecommunications, a contact center software company with $140 million in revenue. He was instrumental in repositioning Genesys and later completed two acquisitions before the company was itself acquired by Alcatel. Brennan has also served in executive positions with Diamond Lane Communications, Newbridge Networks, and Tandem Computers, and in management positions with Digital Equipment.
"LogLogic has a unique solution for a data center problem that has grown increasingly complex and expensive over time," said Brennan. "I believe LogLogic's appliance-based log data management products should be standard infrastructure for every large company, and I'm very excited about the prospect of solving real world customer problems, establishing industry leadership through a standard solution, and capturing significant market share in a very large market."
